On November 12 and 13, 2024, Grade 5 students from Tran Hung Dao Primary School had the opportunity to participate in the “Discovering Heritage” program at the Independence Palace Historical Site, where they explored the meaningful theme “National Reunification.”
With the motto “learn through play, play through learning,” the program provides an exciting learning environment that is both fun and rewarding. Through lively investigative activities, the students not only gain accessible historical knowledge but also deepen their love for and pride in the nation’s glorious past.
Each session lasts 90 minutes and features engaging activities such as painting and solving questions related to the historical story of April 30, 1975. The students also had the chance to discover and learn about the two historical artifacts, Tank 390 and Tank 843, in the Palace garden, guided by the education staff. Participating in the program not only helps students develop a greater love for History but also strengthens essential skills for comprehensive development, including teamwork, communication, analysis, and problem-solving.
