The Delegation of Young Theoretical Cadres from the Academy of Cadre Management (Academy of Officials) had the opportunity to visit and learn about history at the Independence Palace (Reunification Palace) and the exhibition house displaying artifacts and images within the Palace grounds during these historic days of April.

This visit provided the delegation with a chance to get closer to the nation’s history—especially the most tragic and heroic chapters of Southern Vietnam’s history, when the struggle for national liberation and the reunification of the country were intensely unfolding on both sides of the frontline.

The fundamental knowledge gained from this trip provides solid arguments and evidence for the delegation, serving their study and research related to historical and national issues, particularly the history of Southern Vietnam.
