On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), the Independence Palace (Reunification Hall) organizes a Children’s Painting Contest with the theme: “Independence Palace – Heritage Hues”
Participants:
Primary school students within Ho Chi Minh City.
Theme Content:
Participants should illustrate one of the following aspects:

Independence Palace on April 30, 1975: Historical moments, such as tanks advancing into the Palace, the liberation flag flying high, and the joy of the people.

Independence Palace Today: The beauty of the architecture and the fresh, green landscape.

Activities at the Historical Site: Tourists, students, and staff working at the Palace.

The Independence Palace and My Dream: Thoughts, feelings, and messages about heritage preservation and love for the homeland.

Participation Guidelines:

Each contestant may submit 01 entry. There is no limit to the number of entries per school.

Paintings can be created at home, in class, or directly at the Independence Palace (The Organizing Committee will provide free entry passes for schools registering participating students).

Size: A3 paper.

Medium: Self-chosen materials (color pencils, crayons, pastels, powder colors, watercolors, clay art, collage, etc.).
