For the Vietnamese people, April 30th, 1975 is a historic day. It was the day the war ended, the country was rid of enemy invaders, and peace was restored to Vietnam. It was the day North and South was reunited. The 17th parallel is today just a historical vestige of a time past. As the war retreats further into history, the more we have to preserve and promote the spirit of April 30 for the sake of continued national peace and prosperity. The exhibition of “The Ho Chi Minh Trail seen through the archives of the Saigon regime” in 2009

For the 50th anniversary of the construction of Ho Chi Minh Trail (1959 – 2009), Reunification Hall collaborated with Vietnam’s National Archives Center II to organize an exhibit entitled “The Ho Chi Minh Trail seen through the archives of the Saigon regime”.

“From the Paris Agreements to the Ho Chi Minh Campaign of 1975 through archives” in 2010

On the 35th anniversary of the South’s Liberation and the reunification of Vietnam (30/4/1975 – 30/4/2010), Reunification Hall and cooperated with Vietnam’s National Archives Center II to organize an exhibition “From the Paris Agreement to Ho Chi Minh Campaign through archives.” The exhibition introduces more than 100 documents, photographs, and other artifacts related to the Paris Agreements and Ho Chi Minh Campaign supplied by the National Archives Center II, Seventh Region Armed Forces Museum, the Southern Women’s Museum, as well as eyewitnesses.
